How we hosted the Ultimate Party for J20
To promote the relaunch of the limited edition J2O Glitter Berry soft drink, Britvic Soft Drinks ran an on-pack promotion offering consumers the chance to win one of three ‘Ultimate Parties’.
To bring the promotion to life, they asked us to create and manage the tailor-made prize packages. We organised three events:
• The ultimate bonfire night part at the Chatsworth Country Estate
• The ultimate Christmas party in a top London hotel
• The ultimate New Year’s Eve Hogmanay party in Edinburgh
Our in house travel team arranged the travel and accommodation for each winner and nine of their friends, and made sure their parties were a hit with personal pampering sessions, gourmet food, a special ‘J2O Late’ cocktail class and a celebrity appearance.
In order to build consumer excitement and engagement, details of each prize were released in stages through a dedicated J20 Ultimate Party micro-site and on their Facebook page.
As soon as each winner was announced (just one week before each event) our winner management team contacted them to take care of everything for them, acting as their concierge service throughout the experience.
Results
The competition attracted a huge amount of excitement and received an unprecedented number of entries. Feedback on the events also generated valuable and engaging content throughout the campaign.
