Win Unmissable® Dream Holidays with McDonald’s
Posted: June 2016
It’s been a year in the planning but in just four weeks’ time a handful of lucky people will be looking forward to the time of their lives on dream holidays organised by the Unmissable® team, the exciting new travel offering from The NDL Group. Unmissable® is a global destination for the most extraordinary travel, leisure, entertainment, sport and lifestyle experiences.
It’s all part of the 11th MONOPOLY Prize Choice game at McDonald’s – the largest promotion of its kind in the UK with 55 million prizes up for grabs and more than 20 million people expected to take part.
And while there are many instant prizes to be won, a lucky few will discover that the best is yet to come, for our travel team has had the enviable task of designing once-in-a-lifetime Unmissable® Dream Holiday experiences to Thailand, California and New Zealand.
These prizes are in response to consumer research undertaken by The Marketing Store which showed McDonald’s customers cherish life experiences over material possessions. Our team created dream holidays comprising some of the best things to do and see in these amazing locations. From jungle tours, helicopter rides and unique dining experiences, they’ve created what will certainly be unforgettable experiences for memories which will last a lifetime.
We won the brief to design these prizes last summer in a competitive pitch. Although the creativity, capability and track-record of The NDL Group played a part in the account win, it was our ‘winner first’ philosophy, and ability to deliver all aspects of the promotion, that enabled us to stand out.
“This is one of the biggest, most complex promotions we’ve been involved in to date and we truly hope it surpasses last year’s record with more than 20 million entries.
“The organisation of a promotion of this scope and scale has proven the effectiveness of all arms of The NDL Group working together, from developing unique travel content to adapting our proprietary technology, and delivering an exciting yet workable end-to-end solution.” The NDL Group founder Nick Deyong.
